This week, Skipton BS continues to lead with the most competitive offers, although our data shows figures decreasing across the board.

The best initial rate sticks with Skipton at £3653.53, the same as last week.
The average of the top ten lenders is £3884.11, from £3898.63 last week, down 0.37%.
Remortgage
Skipton remains in the lead with the best offer of £3653.53.
The average of the top 10 lenders dips by 0.33% to £3863.25 from £3876.24.
First-time buyers
An unmarried couple, aged 29 and 28, with no children, is buying a £525k house with a £50k deposit from the BOMAD, 25-year term, LTV 90.48%. One earns £85k, the other earns £57k
Skipton still holds the place for the best initial rate of £2824.17 for a 63-month offer.
The average initial open rates from the top ten lenders drops slightly to £2872.91 from £2872.92.
The best rate for a two-year fixed mortgage stays with Skipton BS at £3014.27.
Skipton BS remains in the lead once again for a five-year fixed-fee mortgage, offering £2824.17, the same as last week.
Couple in their twenties
An unmarried couple, aged 28 and 29, on 38k and 32k, who have one child looking to buy a house 170k with a 20k deposit.
Barclays Bank took the top spot this week with an offer of 869.58, from last week’s offer from HSBC of £873.33 for a 63-month rate.
Single person
Single person with no children after a 190k home with a 60k deposit.
The best offer remains with Skipton BS, at a rate of £587.42, the same as last week.
The average of the top ten lenders drops by 0.38% to £657.819 from £660.39 last week.
