Mortgage market movement, the top offers on the market this week from Twenty7tec
There’s some motion across the mortgage market, Twenty7tec shares the top rates from the top ten mortgage lenders in the UK.
The married couple

2 year fixed
Leeds is now in the lead for the best offer, at £3025.08 up 1.68% since last week.
The average of the top ten lenders is up to £3026.86 up 0.37% from last week’s £3015.54.
5 year fixed
Barclays’ bank knocks HSBC from the top spot with an offer of £2950.28 from last week’s £2,956.69.
The average from the top ten lenders is now at £2956.29 from £2959.51.
The London professionals
A married couple, aged 45 and 48, with three kids. £1m house. £500k mortgage, 15-year term, LTV 50%, both earn £85k each
Mortgage
HSBC is number one this week with its rate of £3904.69 up slightly by 0.06%.
The average from the top ten lenders drops slightly to £3909.51 from £3910.72.
Remortgage
Skipton stays in top spot for the best rate at £3,641.39. The average of the top ten lenders drops by 0.5% to £3829.32 from £3850.20 last week.
First-time buyers
An unmarried couple, aged 29 and 28, no kids, buying a £525k house with a £50k deposit from the BOMAD, 25-year term, LTV 90.48%. One earns £85k, the other earns £57k
Nationwide remains in the top spot with a rate of £2863.75. The average mortgage rate is up to £2883.85 from £2878.15.
Nationwide is also, once again the best value provider for a five-year fixed rate at £2,863.75.
Couple in their twenties
An unmarried couple, aged 28 and 29, on £38k and £32k, who have one child looking to buy a house for £170k with a £20k deposit.
HSBC holds its place at the top for the best offer, with its rate of £868.08. The average from the top ten lenders moves very slightly to £872.27 from last week’s £870.26.
Single person
Single person with no children after a £190k home with a £60k deposit.
Barclay’s is now number one, with a new top offer at £658.59 up from last week’s £646.39 with AIB. The average of the top ten lenders rose by 0.9% to £665.63 from £659.54.
